How to control Steppers motor?

Avatar
Guest

I am wanting to control 4 closed loop stepper motors with the drivers that were provided. I have only been able to get one to run with the pulse pin connected to pin 2 of my mduino 42. Is it possible to connect all 4 stepper drivers using the other digital output pins (Q0.1, Q0.2...)?

Hello,

The 5Vdc pins are capable to work up to 10KHz of frequency meanwhile the Optoisolated digital outputs can work up to 4KHz.

You can use for this purpose: Pin2, Pin3, SDA, SCL, SO, SI, SCK pins checking on the User Manual which internal Arduino pins are related with this pinout.

Thank you very much for contacting us and let us know your thoughts, have a nice day.
